RUCK FOR VETS

On Saturday, November 9, 2024, we will be hosting the Ruck for Vets, a ruck walk in honor of our Veterans.

I, Lauren, come from a military family. I love our Nation’s finest and want to show them the utmost respect and support them in any way I can.

The walk will consist of 22 miles, each mile representing the 22 estimated Veteran’s that commit suicide every day. Each participant will carry a weighted vest or backpack to symbolize the packs our military carry on missions and into war. Women will be required to carry 10lb packs and men will be required to carry 20lb packs. There will be mile markers, water/restroom stations, a "pick up" truck for those in need, t-shirts.

We would love to have you there!

If you want to support but don’t want to walk, you can donate here.

We’d love to invite veterans to join the ruck free of charge!

Send Lauren an email to receive your discount code.

HOW DOES RUCKING WORK? HOW DO I TRAIN?

Your sack/weighted bag/ruck backpack can be as simple as a 10lb - 20lb dumbbell in a backpack.

OR you can go to goruck.com to check out legit Ruck packs and vests. You can also find advice on how to train for the event.

If you have more questions about rucking, feel free to email Lauren!
